The smoke from the "sacred" wood is said to have positive properties for the body, mind and soul.
Palo Santo means "sacred wood" and comes from the tropical tree of the same name, which grows mainly in Peru and Ecuador. Its aromatic smoke is said to harmonize body, mind and soul and to release and neutralize negative energies on a subtle level.
How to use
Hold the wood in the flame of a candle until it burns briefly and then fan out the flame. Do not blow it out, so that the good spirits remain. The rising smoke releases the essential oils and fills the room with a warm, soothing fragrance.
Set an intention
When burning incense, you can consciously invite a mood: Calmness, serenity, love, clarity, openness or simply a feeling of well-being. It is best to choose intuitively what you need at that moment.
Incense ritual
Let the smoke flow through the room in gentle circular movements and then place the wood in a fireproof bowl or a suitable holder. You can also fumigate your aura by running the smoke around your body from bottom to top. Ventilate the room briefly afterwards so that old energy can leave.
